AOC accuses Kellyanne Conway of sexism

AOC Kellyanne Conway sexist

AOC Kellyanne Conway sexist. Tensions are rising between Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and Kellyane Conway. AOC hits back at Conway after the latter made a series of comments on the in-party feuding in the Democratic Party, which AOC deems sexist.

After reports on a feud between AOC and Housespeaker Nancy Pelosi came out, Kellyanne Conway weighed in on the intra-party beef saying that the discord between the DEM ladies was a ‘huge catfight’.

“Those four female Democrats that Nancy Pelosi is brushing back, I think they are all freshman members,” said on Fox News. “A major ‘meow moment’ — brushing back in a huge catfight, really ridiculing them — and they voted against the Democratic aid package.”

AOC did not take the criticism too well, immediately posting on twitter that Conway’s comments were sexist.

It’s not the first time that AOC has taken on Conway. Last month, the Democratic Congresswoman has warned the White House adviser that she was going to be served a subpoena.

“You’re getting a subpoena!” said the lawmaker in an interview on the television show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS.

Ocasio-Cortez recalled that Conway did not appear before the Oversight Committee of the House of Representatives to testify, after the White House had said that she was “immune” from giving testimony.

“She was on Fox and friends,” said Ocasio-Cortez in a tone of disbelief. “It’s like when you call work to say you’re sick and someone finds you in the supermarket or somewhere else.”

In fact, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of the committee sent a summon to Conway. “We called on her to present to the committee because she violated what is known as the Hatch Law,” the representative told Colbert. “You’re not supposed to use your official office to campaign politically.”
