Youtuber Etika Dies at 29. New York police found and identified the body of 29-year-old Youtuber Etika found in the East River on Tuesday.

The body of Etika, a young American Youtuber missing since June 19, was found by the New York police. The young man’s body of 29 was discovered in the East River. The identification has been confirmed.

“We regret to inform that Desmond Amofah aka Etika has been found deceased,” police said on Twitter.

Etika ran a Youtube channel called Hactos, followed by 52,000 subscribers. He was testing video games.

A video dated June 19 was a cause for concern and a search notice was launched. “I’m sorry,” he said, “sorry to have betrayed your trust.” He shared his suicidal ideas. The police had also found belongings on the Manhattan Bridge.

Etika is from Brooklyn and is 29 years old. He is 6 feet tall and weighs about 160 lbs. The content creator has developed a strong audience on YouTube, attracting more than 52,000 subscribers to the platform, who regularly watch his videos. His role as youtuber means that he stream live and publish videos, where he often tests popular video games or tackles hot current topics with his own version.

He has a reputation for making controversial comments, most of which he apologizes for in his latest YouTube video, now deleted, of eight minutes. Homophobic insults also caused problems for Etika on Twitch in October 2018, he was banned from broadcasting on the platform – as Newsweek reports.

This video also included painful details. He wrote in the description: “As far as we know, there is no life after death, my time is up, but if there is a way for me too, I will send you as many blessings as possible on the other side.”

June 19 was not the first time he had expressed suicidal thoughts, which may have been preoccupying his family. In April of this year, authorities had to break into his house in order to check his mental stability, after suggesting that he was going to commit suicide.

Last night, the police received an emergency call that indicated that a body was floating below the bridge. The body has since been recovered in the East River and the man who wasso far unidentified has been declared dead at the scene.

The body was assigned to a medical examiner to determine the causes of his death. The police later identified the body as Etika’s.
