Now that is something you don’t hear very often. More than 5,000 people in North Caroline have become lottery winners on Saturday after playing the numbers 0-0-0-0. According to the the North Carolina State Lottery, about 1,000 tickets were bought at one dollar each. The payout for those tickets will be 2,500 dollars each. 1,000 more were bought at 50 cents each for a payout of 2,500 dollars each.

The total payout will amount to 7.8 million dollars.

It’s not the first that such an event had occurred in North Carolina. In 2012, a similar thing happened with the winning numbers being 1-1-1-1. The total payout then was 7.5 millions dollars.
