A man was killed and another injured in a stabbing attack in the street Friday in Wuppertal (western Germany) during a brawl, the police said, adding that the aggressor had fled.

“A 31-year-old man was stabbed to death and his 25-year-old brother was seriously injured and had to be hospitalized,” Wuppertal police said in a statement that the two victims were from Iraq . The police is searching for one or more aggressors.

The fight broke out for “unknown reasons” around 14:45 (1245 GMT) in a business district of the industrial city of North Rhine-Westphalia, police said.
